My professional journey began in multidisciplinary health teams at the Alvalade Health Center and Dona Estefânia Hospital. This experience allowed me to understand different perspectives on care and appreciate the importance of collaboration among professionals.
As a clinical psychologist, I believe empathy is the core value of our practice, the ability to step outside of ourselves to understand the other person, their context, and their story. I strive to make each session a space of active listening, respect, and understanding, where every person can feel welcomed as they are, without pressure about who they “should be.”
I see the consulting room as a space for authenticity and discovery, where judgment can be left at the door and one can reconnect with oneself. It is a place for sharing and growth, where we work side by side to foster self-acceptance, balance, and inner freedom. More than providing answers, my role is to help reveal new perspectives, as if together we could bring depth and clarity to something that has always been there but is harder to see alone.
