During my professional experience, I have learned the importance of having as a fundamental principle the understanding of psychological suffering and the impact it can have on daily life and relationships. As a psychologist, I have come to realize that it is through building a trusting therapeutic relationship that each person gains the possibility to discover, understand, and transform themselves. It is also through the demands of the therapeutic process that transformation takes place, allowing each person to find new ways of being freer and more authentic in their relationships.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from ISPA-IU
Postgraduate Degree in Care for Children and Youth at Risk, ISPA-IU
Member of APIPC – Portuguese Association for Clinical Psychology Intervention Clinical Psychologist at APIPC
Experience in psychological intervention with adolescents and adults
Clinical supervision of mentors in the project “Todos Presentes” – an intergenerational mentoring project at EB Infante D. Henrique (Fernando Pessoa School Group)
Clinical supervision of educators and assistants in Saídos da Casca nurseries
